End Users:
- NO IP ADDRESS: Confirm that you have received an IP address.
- In Windows NT/2000/XP, open a DOS prompt (type cmd at the run command) and type ipconfig.
This will give you information about the addressing of the adapter. Again, in 3GPP2 LANs,
the address should be 10.10.xxx.xxx.
- When using wireless access, confirm that the network name or SSID (wireless only) is
configured to 3GPP2 configurations. Please refer to Wireless Mobile LAN Access
for information about 3GPP2 Access Point configurations.
- When using regular ethernet, confirm that the RJ45 connection is secure and active. Usually
this can be verified by a LED on the hub for the port you are plugged into.
